Overview of the course This course aims to increase students’ understanding of computer assisted language learning. Students will get familiar with the language resources on the Internet, including websites and freeware, and learn how to use these resources to improve their English skills. Learning strategies will be demonstrated through tasks in reading, writing, speaking, listening, and vocabulary practice. Class activities include lectures, group/class discussion, online discussion, and class presentation. 該課程無須買課本, 教材全部是線上免費資源. 每週會介紹1-2個國外線上經典的網站, 包含精進單字量, 訓練聽力, 閱讀能11力, 口說能力, 寫作能力的線上資源. 也會介紹輕鬆但好用的資源如聽歌學英語, 線上卡通, 線上遊戲, 線上英文聊天機器人網站. 如果對外國名校課程有興趣, 這門課會推薦大家熱門的開放課程入口網站(opencourseware), 引導大家註冊使用, 讓同學不用繳交昂貴的學費, 就可以在台灣透過網路免費修習國外課程. 本課程豐富有趣, 修完此課程, 同學們未來將有能力有效利用網路英語資源,吸收新知, 加強自我英文能力, 並能利用該資源解決英語相關問題,終身受用. |
