Course Objective
In this one-semester course, students will learn English used in a range of different business contexts. The focus of this class is on developing students’ listening and speaking skills through graded activities. Conversation strategies in business contexts will be addressed. Grammar, vocabulary support, and TOEIC practice will be provided as well. Class activities will include listening, speaking, reading, vocabulary learning, and writing exercises. By the end of the semester, students will be familiar with key terms, topics, and skills relevant to today’s business environment.

Additionally, students will engage in a variety of activities, including group discussions, personal sharing, group projects, and presentations.

Course Objective
This is a one-semester, four-skill integrated course. While the first year of English focused on reading and vocabulary, the second year will emphasize speaking and listening. Students will listen to, watch, and discuss topics in pairs, groups, and in front of the entire class. They will also be encouraged to write down their thoughts. Discussion, group activities, and group presentations are examples of class activities.
Group Project
Weekly presentation: Each group will be responsible to provide an overview of the Six Minute Episode or Ted Talk, to prepare your classmates better understand the topic.
Term Project: Each group will have to choose a TED talk of their interest and introduce/recommend it to the class.

Course Objective

It covers skills and strategies for effective reading and writing, vocabulary building, critical thinking, and academic presentation. Students will be encouraged to discuss and write about the ideas they discover in readings to become better speakers and writers of English. Additionally, students will engage in a variety of activities, including group discussions, personal sharing, group projects, and presentations.

In the first semester, this class will integrate a chatbot as the students’ conversation partner for weekly interactions. This will provide students with practical speaking opportunities, aiming to improve their speaking confidence, vocabulary use, and learning motivation.

工具內容包含聽力、口語、閱讀、以及寫作的免費優質資源。修完這門課程的同學,未來可以很有效率的自學英文,繼續增進自我英語能力。科技日新月異,尤其是AI一日千里,許多新的英語學習資源陸續問世。如果你對英語學習有興趣,歡迎加入我們。本課程包含的工具如下:
1. 使用AI工具幫我們修正英文寫作 (TOEIC英文改錯系統, Grammarly, ChatGPT等工具)
2. 運用語音識工具以及聊天機器人來改善或加強英語發音和口語表達

Course Objective

This year-long course integrates four key language skills to help students become more skilled and confident readers. While the main focus is on academic reading and building vocabulary, the class also encourages students to actively discuss and write about the ideas they discover in their readings. The goal is to improve their proficiency in English, enabling them to be better readers, speakers, and writers. To achieve these goals, the course incorporates various activities, including discussions, collaborative group tasks, and presentations.

1. Participation and Attendance:
– If you must miss a class due to unavoidable circumstances (e.g., illness, injury, family emergency), please email me in advance.
– Late assignments or make-up tests will not be permitted.
2. Mobile Phone Usage:
– Please switch your mobile phone to silent mode during class. Unless it’s being used for dictionary lookup or information searching, kindly refrain from using it during class.
3. Quizzes:
– Regular quizzes will be conducted, covering materials from both textbooks and class presentations. It is advised to preview and review class materials every week to stay prepared.

Course Objective

In this one-semester course, students will learn essential business-related vocabulary, grammar rules, and sentence structures applicable to the business world. They will also practice reading articles and composing letters to enhance their business communication and writing skills. Class activities include reading, vocabulary learning, speaking, and writing exercises. Students will be introduced to some AI writing tools. By the end of the semester, students will be familiar with key terms, subjects, and skills relevant to today’s business environment.
